How we teach
A simple, structured way to learn
Dutch traffic has its own rules and habits: roundabouts, priority to the right, and more cyclists than you have ever seen. Your instructor explains all of it in plain English, one topic at a time. Every lesson ends with a short recap: what you now do independently, and what you will practise next.
✓ One dedicated instructor: the same instructor every lesson
✓ Full 60-minute lessons: a full hour behind the wheel
✓ Fixed, transparent prices: packages and exam fees
Lessons & courses
Manual, automatic or fast-track: you choose
Every route starts the same way: a 60-minute trial lesson for €50. You drive, meet your instructor and get honest advice on how many lessons you need. You decide afterwards, no obligation to continue.
✓ Manual lessons: learn clutch and gears, and drive any car after passing
✓ Automatic lessons (code 78): no clutch, all your attention goes to traffic
✓ Driving anxiety support: a predictable lesson structure with calm, concrete instructions
✓ Intensive course: several lessons per week following a personal fast-track plan, theory certificate required before starting

FAQ
Questions from international learners
Can I take the theory and practical exam in English?
Yes. The CBR offers the theory exam in English, and the practical exam can be taken with English-speaking support. Your instructor prepares you for both.
Is my foreign driving licence valid in the Netherlands?
That depends on the country that issued it and your residence status. Some licences can be exchanged; others require a full Dutch exam. Send us a WhatsApp with your situation and we will point you in the right direction.
Do I need to speak Dutch at all?
No. Lessons, explanations and progress recaps are all in clear English. Traffic signs in the Netherlands follow international conventions.
How many lessons will I need?
It differs per person, driving experience abroad usually speeds things up. After your trial lesson you get an honest estimate, not a standard number.
